About Me

My name is Diane, my greatest achievement are my two adult children who are both healthy and happy in their lives.

After being married for 20 years, and now have a new partner who has supported me wholeheartedly to undertake this new role in my life.

For the whole of my working life, I have worked in the service sector.

I undertook initial Celebrant training in September 2014 with the Fellowship of Independent Celebrants (FOIC), achieving the qualifications to allow me to take funerals and marriage ceremonies.

Since then I have completed my level 3 Diploma in Funeral services and in the Autumn I am travelling to America to gain further experience in wedding ceremonies to ensure that I am continually developing my skills and have a higher, formally recognised qualification.

With the experience of having taken  over 300 funerals, ‘Celebrations or  Thanksgiving of Life’ services as I tend to call them, many families have given me the honour of taking other services for them and I am often asked to take the services for family’s or friends who have previously attended a service which I have conducted.

It was my honour in May of this year, to have been asked to take the Memorial Service, at Bramcote Crematorium, from which I had some lovely comments and wonderful feedback from staff at the crematorium, Funeral Directors and most importantly those who were there to remember their loved ones.

All my services are conducted in a professional manner and I am happy to do any type of ceremonies, modern, traditional, spiritual or non-religious to include weddings, funerals, baby naming’s, vow renewals and Celtic Handfastings.

I live on the border or Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and am happy to travel to undertake your ceremony at your chosen venue.
